Eric Bailly has taken to social media to reveal that he has been enjoying spending some time with his “loved ones” after the Manchester United defender was ruled out of action for a number of months following ankle surgery.
The Ivorian is expected to be out of action for a number of months after undergoing ankle surgery earlier this month.
The defender has struggled to stay fit this season, forcing Jose Mourinho to rotate between his players at the back.
It remains to be seen exactly when Bailly will be able to make his return to action for Manchester United, but it seems that he has been keeping himself in high spirits along with his family over the festive season.
Bailly posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account on Wednesday and wrote the caption: “I hope you’re having a Happy Holiday season. I spent them with my loved ones. 😄”
Bailly has not featured for Manchester United since the defeat by Chelsea at the start of December.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are currently preparing to take on Southampton at Old Trafford on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways.
The Red Devils were held to a frustrating 2-2 draw by Burnley at Old Trafford on Boxing Day after their 2-2 draw with Leicester City at the weekend.
